Scala Data Centers announces new executive team

Platform founded by American Digital Colony seeks professionals to work in the Alphaville office in São Paulo

Scala Data Centers, a hyper-scalable data center platform, concluded the training of its executive team with the hiring of six professionals, who will work together with CEO Marcos Peigo. The company was founded in April this year by Digital Colony, an investment fund specialized in digital infrastructure, which acquired the assets of UOL Diveo.

Luciano Fialho, takes over as corporate vice president, adding more than 20 years of experience in the areas of mergers and acquisitions (M&A), finance, legal and governance. He holds a law degree from UFMG, a master’s degree in finance and business from MIT and a doctorate in law and economics from USP.

Caio Matias, will take the position of Financial and Administrative Director, bringing over 20 years of experience in the areas of finance, financial planning and controlling, having worked for companies such as IBM, UOL Diveo and Solvo. He is graduated in Business Administration from PUC-SP, with an MBA in Financial Management from FGV.

The company was positioned as a leader in colocation services, through the Information Services Group (ISG) quadrant Provider Lens.

The new director of Engineering and Operations is Eugênio Cruz, graduated in Safety Engineering from Mackenzie and an MBA in Business Management from FIA. He has 24 years of experience in mission critical facilities, data centers and telecom, has worked for companies such as UOL Diveo and Laboratórios Stiefel.

With over 20 years of experience acquired in companies such as SBT, AT&T, Claro, Solvo and UOL Diveo, Leandro Sulinscki, graduated in Administration and Systems Analysis from PUC-Campinas and MBA in Administration from ESAMC, arrives at the Scala Data Centers team as People and Management director.

The new executive manager for Strategy and Marketing is Christiana Weisshuhn, graduated in Electrical Production Engineering at PUC-RJ, bringing with her 23 years of experience at Accenture, where she built her career.

Finally, Cleber Braz takes over as Business Director at Scala Data Center and will be responsible for the areas of architecture, products, sales and customer service. He has an MBA in Business Administration and Management from FGV and almost 20 years of experience in service and sales management at companies such as IBM and UOL.

Despite the short time in the market, Scala Data Centers is among the biggest names in the sector in Brazil and Latin America, based on colocation, edge computing and data center innovation services, providing digital infrastructure to large corporations. In its first year of operation, the company was positioned as a leader in colocation services, in the Information Services Group (ISG) Provider Lens quadrant.
